yet iOS 11 doesn't trim them when you install self signed IPAs.

Also, is it why apps that are "jailed" to external DYLIB using the "portable cydia substrate framework" are crashing too ? Didn't check if the DYLIB were fat, but most likely too.

That's great if you can fix it, keep up the good job !

LiberiOS 11.0.3 is ready for you at

http://NewOSXBook.com/liberios/LiberiOS11.0.3.ipa

Significant fixes there, including virtually all the use cases I never encountered.. including:

- amfid dying (amfidebilitate will snag it again, and again, and again)
- amfidebilitate dying (not happening anymore). I put tons of necessary error checks.
- support for FAT binaries
- runs way faster due to shaving sleep(..) of about 10 seconds.
- Any trace, mention , or insinuation of Cydia removed.

Not posting this on Twitter intentionally.

Thanks morpheus!! this is awesome! :)

Should we also abstain from posting on Twitter?

J says: yes please - There's no Cydia and I don't want throngs of people hounding me for it. Also, let me know if you still get the killed issued. I dont think you will anymore

Markv wrote:Thanks! That was really informative. If the posix_spawn method does not work, and DYLD_INSERT is not suported yet (so cant use dumpdecrypt.dylib), is there any other method to decrypt a binary?

I can not think of any program that does that currently, it will not be hard to do something that skips the program launch option, like polling all the processes and looking for the pid of the program whose memory is to be dumped.

J Says: dump decrypted never worked properly. Use 'procexp <pid> core' or 'procexp <pid> binary'

I get `open: No such file or directory` when running `procexp <pid> binary`. `procexp <pid> core` on the contrary throws a bunch of these:

Code: Select all
Failed to read a4000 bytes of memory from 119874000 - Error 10
Warning: Segment at 119874000 only read partially (0/a4000 bytes)

But finishes the core dump and I can open it correctly using lldb on macos.

Any idea why the `binary` command would be failing?

J says: That the core says it failed some reads is fine - these are pages that were mapped out (i-Devices are stingy on RAM). So yeah, the core will open fine. I still warn anyway. As for 'binary' failing - that's because I made a booboo and bundled procexp had a bug in the implementation. Sorry. AS a short term workaround, the first three LC_SEGMENT_64s in the core dump *are* the binary. But fix will come soon

Good point, no Twitter it is :)

Nope the `./makeMeAtHome.sh` script worked now, but Clutch is still getting killed :/

Edit: just read older posts and understood why.
