inject.c into and why

Postby acura » Sun Jul 15, 2018 10:33 am

No good reason why. It just happen to be open when I wanted to try inject.c.

It seemed to work. But did not.
Tried to write a file, open a socket. To no avail.

But things to notice:
1. is sandboxed.
2. So files cannot be written outside of the sandbox restrictions. Fine.
3. Sockets could not be opened... But yeah, stupid me. See point 2...

The dylib being injected also has to be readable to the sandboxed application.

This might be useful if someone else runs into problems with injecting stuffs into sandboxed applications.

And also note the comment about alignment in the source.
