Jtool / Joker - silly question

Postby Johnb » Sun Nov 04, 2018 6:42 am

This is going to sound ridiculous on this forum, but I am struggling to get jtool and joker to work. So I guess it is a basic installation question.

When I run jtool it says 'command not found' ... I've moved it to usr/local/bin and changed per the flags (chmod +x) as per the instructions but no banana. Are there any dependencies missing - for example does Xcode have to be installed on the machine I am using (Xcode command line tools are e.g., otool, but not Xcode itself).

Also to note

- when i double click on jtool in finder I get the usage page, just can't work it in terminal
- on joker (joker.universal is file name) it obviously searches for an application that can open a .universal file!!!

Is /usr/local/bin in your PATH?
Run in terminal and check output:
echo $PATH

Yes it was in path.

I've resolved it. When I copied it to usr/local/bin i also created a file called bin in the usr/local directory!!! Deleted file and no working. Doh
